Genealogical researches

The “Specialized Law Associates” assists citizens of Ukraine and foreigners in finding out their genealogy, not only in the conduct of specific inheritance cases with the aim of confirming relationship with the testator and the right to inheritance, but also within the framework of a separate genealogical study caused by the desire of citizens to learn about their ancestral roots, national origin, property and social status of their ancestors, to discover the history of the family as a whole or its individual branches, and to find out the fate of relatives whose contacts were lost as a result of emigration, wars or for other reasons.

SLA has qualified genealogists who possess special knowledge on the history and traditions of people of different faiths who know the structure and content of various domestic and foreign archival collections and have access to them. All this, as well as the analytical approach and considerable practical experience allow the SLA to professionally conduct deep genealogical research even with a minimum of information received from citizens.

Genealogical services of SLA include:

— research of the whole family tree or its certain branches with requisition of written archival confirmations (certified references, copies of records, documents, etc.)

— modeling and graphically drawing a family tree

— consultation and collection of archival documents for the confirmation of Polish roots, in particular, for the purpose of obtaining the Pole’s Card (for children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren)

— consultation and reclamation of archival documents for the confirmation of Jewish roots, in particular, for emigration and repatriation purposes

Upon completion of the research, the customer is provided with a full report on the work done with the application of the archival documents package and the family tree scheme with detailed explanations.

The cost of the service, which includes current expenses and remuneration, is determined in each individual case by agreement of the parties and depends on the “depth” and “breadth” of genealogical research, the number of archives to which you need to apply for or visit, the location of archives (in Ukraine or abroad), the volume of archival materials that should be analyzed, the number of archival documents that must be obtained to confirm the genealogy. At the request of the citizens, the SLA can conduct a phased genealogical study, by each stage paid separately.
